Pacific Hostessware 1 gallon #228 “plainware” beanpot, 7.5″ tall. This piece is part of a set of early plainware beanpots carried over from the stoneware lines of the late 1920s – early 1930s. The piece is listed in the 1934 catalog but I’m not sure it was ever glazed in Hostessware colors. It may have just been glazed in the standard brown kitchenware glaze. The image example is an accurate 3D model based off of early company guides. I’ve never seen this size in person.
